A regular contributor to the pages of Business Money has been presented with a special award by the Association of International Accountants. Professor Mark Watson-Gandy, the man behind our monthly legal column Counsel’s Opinion, was honoured at the AIA President’s Dinner and Awards evening, held at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly, London, on 8 October. He is the first member of the legal profession to receive the Outstanding Contribution to the Accountancy Profession Award, and only the third person to have been recognised as such by the AIA.
